Calimesa Community Garden, a nonprofit community garden located on “L” Avenue between 3rd and 4th Streets will hold its2nd Annual Colossal Tomato Plant Sale Saturday & Sunday April 2nd & 3rd at Calimesa Fresh & Easy Market 1126 Calimesa Blvd., Calimesa, CA 92320. The plant sale will include a more than 40 varieties of tomato hybrids, heirlooms and container plants as well as a wide variety of pepper plants. UCCE Master Gardeners from both San Bernardino and Riverside Counties will be available to answer your questions and demonstrate how to plant and care for tomato and pepper plants.
Sales begin each day at 8am ending at Noon. Plants will sell for $3.00 each, cash only.
Proceeds from this fundraising activity will help maintain the community garden and provide a shelter for garden education.
