Do you know of a family that is looking for a fun, safe, Christian environment where your child(ren) can learn about God and serve others?  If you do, then tell them to register their child in the Adventurers Club at Calimesa.  The club meets every 1st, 3rd, & 5th, Tuesday night at 5:00pm, starting on October 5, 2010.  The program aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship and to further the child’s development in spiritual, physical, mental, and social areas.We alternate sessions between small groups learning about God and humanitarian projects that help others.

Our registration date will be Sunday September 26 from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the church fellowship hall!

If you’ve been watching America’s got talent this season then you know there is something really special and pure about a child’s voice, especially when the voice(s) are praising God!  This year, I am happy to introduce our new children’s choir director…Kathy McMillan!  Children’s Choir will begin in a few weeks so stayed tuned for more specifics to come but here is a message from Kathy.  We’ll be posting information about choir start date as well as performance dates soon.

I’m very much looking forward to directing Calimesa’s children’s choir this year. I have always been amazed by the talent of the children in this church and it will be great fun to work with you and your families. We will plan to begin in October 10 and will meet on Sunday evenings from 6:00 – 6:45. I’m looking forward to seeing your children there!
