As a church we prioritize Christian Education and recognize the importance of it in the life of our members. Sometimes due to
circumstances beyond our control we are in a position where Christian Education is simply not a financial option on our own.
The Calimesa SDA Church has set up a system to partner with the parents and the administration at Mesa Grande Academy to
help provide some financial assistance for your student(s) during this difficult economic time.
Please carefully fill out this application and return it to the church office by Friday July 31, 2009. The Student Aid com-
mittee will review your application, and if additional information is needed, they will contact you. We will strive to have an
answer for your request for aid by the middle of August in order to allow for a seamless registration process. Your information
will remain confidential to the church finance committee and administration at MGA.
Applications will be available for pickup in the church lobby starting Sabbath July 18, 2009.

The heat didn’t deter from the fun that we had at Mesa Grande Academy. It was a wonderful day of fun for the entire family as the church came out to take their shots at the Golden Owl…which is not as bad as the golden calf. Congratulations go to the Young Adults for defending their title…but the true winners were our children that were able to enjoy a wonderful afternoon with parents and friends!
The Young Families made a strong showing finishing in 2nd and 3rd place!!!
Three cheers and special thanks go to the Garcias, Todd Nelson our (GM), and MGA our gracious hosts for the day (Thanks Mr. Riddle!)
Due to popular demand we will schedule a young families softball day in the fall. stay tuned!

This weekend we will be having our graduation in our Sabbath School classes. This is our annual time of promotion to the next class. There will be special ceremony and a prayer of blessing for those that are moving on to the next class. We will start around 10 AM in Junior Sabbath School and work our way down to Cradle Roll. A special congratulations to those that are moving out of children’s ministries into Earliteen. God bless you! See you all this Sabbath!
